Chamber members interact with elected officials and their representatives at various meetings on a regular basis. These are excellent opportunities for members to develop relationships and make an impact on legislation. The Government Affairs Committee monitors, evaluates and responds to Federal, State and local legislation that potentially impacts our members. The Planning and Building Advisory Group meets with the City to discuss issues such as development and construction which enables our members to have a voice in matters that could have an impact on our business community. For meeting dates and times, please contact the Chamber. Businesses are encouraged to contact the Chamber for assistance on any legislative bills, rulings or measures that are important to their operations. Our role as a business advocate is one of the most valuable benefits of membership.
